Roopa Seshadri
Roopa Seshadri is a Senior Researcher at Chapin Hall. Her research interests include health and child policy, especially as they pertain to vulnerable populations; disparities in preventive health care; and healthcare access and outcomes. Her work includes studies of access to childhood immunization services and its potential barriers, families that are recipients of services from multiple state systems, and identifying indicators of child well-being. She has expertise in research study design, use of national survey and registry data, and application of statistical data analysis methodology to research and administrative data.
Prior to joining Chapin Hall, she served as a biostatistician and faculty member at medical schools, collaborating on healthcare services and medical research. She has also taught biostatistics to physician researchers. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Statistics from the University of Memphis and an A.M. from the Harris School of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago.
