Jacqueline Brogdon

Associate Policy Analyst

Jacqueline Brogdon is an Associate Policy Analyst at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago. Brogdon works with state and local child welfare agencies to implement continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practices in alignment with Family First and current child welfare research. Brogdon brings expertise in program evaluation and quality improvement to her role in the Implementation Collaborative at Chapin Hall. Her research interests include the intersections of child welfare, mental health, substance use, and inter-generational trauma.

Prior to joining Chapin Hall, Brogdon was an Evaluation and Research Associate at Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA), where she provided data analysis and evaluation for programs funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration (SAMHSA), such as the Drug-Free Communities grant program. In this role, Brogdon also fielded community assessments for community coalitions and state and local public health agencies to inform their prevention and treatment efforts. Earlier in her career, Brogdon was a Fulbright Scholar and taught English to elementary students in Logroño, Spain.

Brogdon holds a Master of Public Policy from American University in Washington, DC and a Bachelor of Arts in International and Area Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
