Jay Michael Williams is a Project Associate for the Executive and Policy Teams at Chapin Hall. He works remotely from Alabama.
Prior to joining the Chapin Hall team, Williams lead the Alabama Hard to Count Collaborative in a Statewide 2020 Census GOTC Campaign. This campaign focused primarily on those who’ve gone historically uncounted in the previous Census Operations. Currently, he is serving as the NASW-AL Chapter Board President.
Williams’s educational background is entirely Alabama based. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Political Science / Human Rights and Conflict Studies from Birmingham Southern College and his Master of Social Work from the University of Alabama School of Social Work.
