Director of Human Resources

Jelita J. Bridgeforth is a certified, strategic, and solutions-oriented Human Resources Professional with over 23 years of experience. She serves as the Director of Human Resources for Chapin Hall and focuses on all facets of the Human Resources Department—overall human resources strategy, global talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, organizational design and cultural development, employee education and development, compensation and benefits, HR operations and technology, and employee relations.

Prior to joining Chapin Hall, Bridgeforth worked at The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston as Vice President, Human Resources. During her time at Boys & Girls Clubs, she changed the function, culture, and impact of HR across the company to support its business goals and strategies as well as the needs and aspirations of its 200+ employees. Bridgeforth demonstrated a commitment to organizational development, strategic planning, leadership coaching, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, through continuous organizational development. She has worked in the industries of Nonprofit, Healthcare, Business Development, PEO, Manufacturing, and Veterinary Medicine.

Bridgeforth holds a Bachelor of Science from Tennessee State University and a Master of Public Health from Emory University.
