Lia Amelia is a Project Associate at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago. Her research interest is the use of data analysis to improve public health. Amelia’s work in data processing, database development, record linkage, and data validation supports research with administrative data at Chapin Hall. She also performs statistical analyses and summarizes and visualizes data.
Prior to working at Chapin Hall, Amelia was a Research Assistant at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University, where she supported research and conducted analyses to evaluate collaboration between hospital providers in the cardiology unit.
Amelia holds a Master of Science in Applied Statistics from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Statistical Computation from the Institute of Statistics in Jakarta.
