Mickie Anderson is the Project Associate for the Doris Duke Fellowships and the Toxic Stress Study teams at Chapin Hall. Anderson supports the Doris Duke Fellowships’ interdisciplinary peer learning network and assists with research and project coordination for the JPB – Toxic Stress Study.
Prior to coming to Chapin Hall, Anderson started her career as one of the first employees of the start-up social business, Top Box Foods, a nonprofit designed to help alleviate the issue of food deserts plaguing the city of Chicago and its neighboring communities. Since its inception, Top Box Foods has provided over 1 million nutritious meals to its customers. Anderson also spent some time in corporate HR and recruiting.
Anderson received her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Public Policy Studies from DePaul University in Chicago, IL.
