Tracy Sadlon

Director of Development

Tracy Sadlon is the Director of Development for Chapin Hall.  Sadlon engages individuals, foundations and corporations to support solutions that promote equity and improve the lives of children, youth, and families. Drawing inspiration from those who want to make an impact in the world, Sadlon aligns donor passion with purpose to accelerate collaboration, innovation, and excellence in child wellbeing.

With over 25 years of fundraising experience, Sadlon brings a depth of knowledge developing and executing philanthropic strategies to support research, advocacy, and programs that improve the safety and health of children and families.  Prior to joining Chapin Hall, Sadlon led resource development activities at prominent statewide and national nonprofits.  Through the National Safety Council, Sadlon developed partnerships with donors such as Ford, General Motors, and Toyota to improve public safety and prevent roadway fatalities.   At Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital, Sadlon created and grew the Foundation Giving Department, leading to multi-million dollar contributions to build a new hospital, support children’s health, and launch critical services such as the Center for Childhood Resilience.  By establishing a Foundation and Corporate Giving program at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois, Sadlon generated new sources of revenue for child welfare and community-based programs and garnered national attention for LSSI though securing the Mutual of America Community Partnership Award.

Sadlon holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from DePauw University.
