Jeanne Preisler

Associate Policy Analyst

Jeanne Preisler is an Associate Policy Analyst with Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago. Preisler supports the work of the Implementation Collaborative, helping jurisdictions with system transformation initiatives. Her portfolio focuses on assisting state agencies build their capacity to implement evidence-based programs, codevelop Community Pathways, and support upstream prevention. Preisler brings expertise in project management, family and community engagement, partnership development, and trauma-informed programming to her role.

Prior to joining Chapin Hall, Preisler was at North Carolina State University’s Center for Family and Community Engagement. There, Preisler led the implementation of the North Carolina Child Welfare Family Leadership Model, supporting persons with lived experience serving on state-level committees and ensuring their perspectives informed programs and policy. Prior to this, she was the Trauma and Behavioral Health Coordinator at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Social Services. In this role, Preisler led the state’s trauma-informed initiative, provided oversight for health programming, and supported the state’s federal review and Program Improvement Plan. Preisler’s experience spans 20 years in leadership roles in the public and private human service sectors.

Preisler holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida at Gainesville.
