Jessica Pucker

Associate Policy Analyst

Jessy Pucker is an Associate Policy Analyst at Chapin Hall. Pucker focuses on supporting capacity building for Motivational Interviewing under the Family First Prevention Services Act. Her other projects include supporting jurisdictions in the implementation of evidence-based programs. Pucker brings prior experience in social work, family services, and mental health treatment. Her past professional experiences with direct service help provide a foundation for her systems-level work.

Prior to joining Chapin Hall, Pucker worked as a psychotherapist specializing in perinatal mental health. Her therapeutic focus was on Postpartum Mood Disorders, termination for medical reasons, and chronic illness. Pucker trained in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International and received her PMH-C Certificate. She has worked in various social service settings, including family services at a Head Start program and a free mental health clinic. While working in family services, Pucker helped develop and execute a needs assessment for families in the program. Pucker has prior training in Motivational Interviewing through Columbia School of Social Work. As a therapist, Motivational Interviewing and client-centered approaches were at the core of her practice.

Pucker has a Master of Social Work from Columbia University in New York City and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Northwestern University.
