Chapin Hall Launches Technical Assistance Institute in New York

Providing training, coaching, and technical assistance in effective use of the CANS tool in New York

Chapin Hall launched the CANS NY Technical Assistance Institute in January 2018. New York State is using the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) as its primary outcomes management tool. This tool puts individuals and families at the center of planning their own care, while it provides critical information to drive positive system change.

The new Institute supports effective use of the CANS-NY by care managers and supervisors, and provides a system of training, coaching, and technical assistance.
