Brooke DiPetrillo
Senior Researcher
Dr. Brooke DiPetrillo is a Senior Researcher at Chapin Hall. DiPetrillo has a multidisciplinary and global background in maternal and child health, public health, health systems, and social and behavioral health sciences. Her research focuses on community health, program evaluations, social support, social determinants of health, and integrating racial and health equity principles into research. DiPetrillo’s methodological expertise includes qualitative, mixed-methods, and community-based participatory approaches. At Chapin Hall, DiPetrillo supports a mixed-method evaluation of 100% New Mexico, a collective impact model developed and implemented by the Anna, Age Eight Institute at New Mexico State University. Her current projects employ systematic reviews to assess the current state, emerging trends, evidence and gaps among child welfare and protection policies and programs that support child wellbeing and family strengthening.
Before joining Chapin Hall, DiPetrillo was a Senior Research Associate at the Georgia Health Policy Center at Georgia State University where she supported a mixed-method evaluations of Project LAUNCH (Linking Actions for Unmet Needs in Children’s Health) and a nationwide diabetes prevention program in partnership with the Trinity Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). DiPetrillo also provided technical assistance on program design, implementation and evaluation for a Georgia statewide Health Equity Initiative sponsored by the CDC and in partnership the Georgia Department of Public Health.
DiPetrillo has a PhD in Public Health Promotion and Behavior and a Master of Public Health from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Miami (Coral Gables, Florida).
