Matthew Brenner is a Communications Specialist at Chapin Hall. He edits and proofreads reports, executive summaries, proposals, and press releases. He writes news stories and summaries of publications for Chapin Hall’s public and internal websites. In his editing work, Brenner strives to make research findings accessible to readers. Brenner also manages content on Chapin Hall’s websites, including publications and research. He creates social media postings to promote Chapin Hall’s publications. He also manages Chapin Hall’s access to journals and publications and fosters the relationship between Chapin Hall and the University of Chicago library.
Brenner has spent his career at Chapin Hall. He previously managed the Chapin Hall Information Center, which provided researchers with journals and reports. He has extensive editing and proofreading experience and has reviewed hundreds of Chapin Hall research reports, issue briefs, and the organization’s Guide to Projects and Publications. Brenner also supports special projects for the Executive Director.
Brenner has a certificate in Editing from the University of Chicago Graham School of Continuing Liberal and Professional Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Kenyon College.
